OUR MISSION
We are a non-profit film festival for filmmakers and storytellers from all over the world to highlight human-water relationship issues and concerns that inspire an action step in water awareness, water championship and building awareness of the value of water for audiences.

Films about water can inspire an understanding of the value of water, and make the issues and solutions not only matters of the mind, but of the hearts and hands as well.

OUR MAIN EVENT WILL BE FALL 2024 with multiple side events happening around the world.

We are partnered with Docutribe and 2 UN partner organizations, IGRAC and Youth for Global Health & Sanitation, members of the Water Environment Federation, as well as open to collaboration with any water organization.

OUR GOAL
In creating this platform our goal is to leverage the power in the medium & art form of film to enhance relationships between filmmakers, organizations, and the entire human population to build championship and activism in water-related matters. We curate films from around the world to audiences around the world.

We are so proud to have been a part of the festival! It was very well organized and communication was spot-on. We hope our little film resonated with the audiences, and look forward to the future of this festival!

  • World Water Film Festival was open for selecting my experimental yet informative short AQUA IMPROMPTU and I appreciate that a lot! I watched what I could online and thought they did a great job in organisation, communication, and film selection.
One painful minus: Many online film files were too compressed, so they lost some of their image quality. This could be fixed by next year.
Were there winners and where can they be found? :-)
    Thanks for everything!
