This festival is truly unique. What makes it remarkable is the diverse range of screenings it offers. In addition to these screenings, there was a fantastic selection of workshops led by professionals, which was the cherry on top!

I am grateful to the festival and its jury members for awarding our short film "Hot Air Hippo" the Best Animation Short. Also, a big shout-out to the festival director Giorgia for the organization, who is always ready to reply to any questions.

I highly recommended this festival, definitely not to be missed!

Taking part in the West Film London Film Festival was a great experience. Considering that this is still a fairly new festival, I’d like to share some feedback for future editions particularly to help improve attendance. I suggest offering single-session tickets in addition to day passes. I understand the goal of encouraging audiences to watch multiple films, but that incentive could remain an option through day passes rather than being the only choice. It’s important to keep festivals like this accessible to everyone, and ticket flexibility can really help with that.

Overall, the organisation was strong, the screenings were of good quality, and the venue was lovely. Congratulations to Giorgia and the team for making this happen, we all know how challenging and demanding it is to create an event of this scale.

  • Such a gorgeous venue for the festival, with a great space to meet other filmmakers and discuss the films. The programme offered a fantastic amount of value in terms of competitions, masterclasses and q&a's without the weekend with industry members that was also super helpful for the filmmakers in attendance.
