A student film festival created by the WashU Film Club to celebrate collegiate filmmaking from across the world. WashU Film Festival is committed to highlighting the best of independent student film as well as facilitating networking opportunities for developing filmmakers. The festival will be organized and programmed by WashU Film Club members, and categories and final awards will be judged by a panel of film and media professors and members of the St. Louis film industry. All films selected for the festival are screened, and films which receive "Nominee" status are eligible for the grand prize, the “Golden Bunny,” named after WashU’s infamous “Thinker Bunny” statue.
