  • It was a great festival, and a pleasure to have my short film, 'The Red Room' nominated for the festival, and amongst the lost of best short films. More strength and blessings to the organisers and team.

WARRIFF’s first edition was an exciting launch — a lively, culturally rich festival that showcased diverse African cinema, celebrated local and international filmmakers, and highlighted Warri’s potential as a new creative hub. With vibrant screenings, standout award winners, strong sponsor support, and civic engagement, it offered an encouraging beginning for what could become one of Nigeria’s most anticipated annual film events.
