VisionFest is Filmmakers Alliances' yearly short film screening and celebration of Independent Film that brings together the best of L.A.'s independent filmmaking community. With a program of the best short films produced in the previous year, and a high-energy reception.

In 2025, VisionFest will again include the Los Angeles Short Film Grant competition sponsored by Panavision, providing cash, resources and an amazing camera and post package provided by Panavision and Light Iron.

Rules & Terms

You must be in attendance for the event if your film is selected.
Your submitted film must have been completed within the last two years.
Your film cannot exceed 30 minutes running time, including credits.

    We had a lovely time at Vision Fest this year in spite of the unseasonably cold weather. Wonderful venue and some really cool people. Filmmakers Alliance & Vision Fest have been around supporting filmmakers for a very long time. Great to be a lifetime member of FA. And so happy to screen our film in this community. It was platformed really well and given a lot of love. Grateful.
