DESCRIPCIÓN

El festival internacional de cine Violeta Film Fest (VFF) es un festival “Por la reducción de brechas, diversidad, inclusión y sororidad”

El festival tendrá proyecciones en la ciudad de Bogotá (Colombia) en la Cinemateca de Bogotá - una de las mejores salas de cine en Colombia-, así como en las ciudades de Medellín y Cartagena. Aquellas películas que queden seleccionadas y sean autorizadas por los cineastas, estarán disponibles en la plataforma streaming de Mujeres Violeta durante los días del festival de cine.

El Festival maneja 4 categorías:
- Cine hecho por Ellas
- Cine hecho por Ellos para Ellas
- Cine hecho por Elles
- Cine que realizan organizaciones al documentar sus acciones a favor de la Diversidad, Equidad e Inclusión
Buscando que las narrativas reflejen: Acciones que debe realizar la sociedad para la transformación en torno a la Diversidad, Equidad e Inclusión.

El festival recibe cortometrajes de cualquier idioma siempre y cuando tengan subtítulos en español.

Para la exhibición de los cortometrajes en la Cinemateca de Bogotá, el 60% deben ser producciones colombianas y el 40% de otros países. Para las demás exhibiciones no existe restricción.

Todas las categorías convocadas en esta plataforma recibirán proyectos hasta las 23 horas: 59 minutos: 59 segundos: hora de Colombia, (BGT), del 15 de mayo de 2024.

*Notificaciones de selección:
16 de junio de 2024

Al inscribirse y ser seleccionado, se compromete a enviar la autorización de uso y reproducción, los materiales publicitarios y la copia de exhibición de las películas en los formatos y tiempos indicados.

Las películas que quedan seleccionadas para ser proyectadas en sala, deberán estar es español ó con subtítulos en español. Las películas seleccionadas para estar en la plataforma streaming de Mujeres Violeta, pueden tener subtítulos en español ó inglés

Es necesario informar a los proyectos participantes en esta convocatoria, que su postulación no implica aceptación hasta ser seleccionados por el Comité Curador del Festival.

Una vez seleccionadas, todas las personas realizadoras, tendrán acceso a proyecciones, actividades académicas, promoción en las redes sociales del festival, estar en plataforma streaming de Mujeres Violeta y todas las ventajas de ser acogidas por el festival.

Cuatro Categorías OFICIALES.

Todas las secciones serán curadas por un Comité compuesto por cinéfilos y cineastas colombianos que tienen enfoque en temas de Diversidad, Equidad e Inclusión. El Comité Curador estará en libertad de invitar cualquier película a participar en secciones distintas a las que se hayan postulado si lo considera pertinente.

Dicho Comité Curador tendrá la libertad de ubicar la obra del participante en la categoría que más se asemeje al contenido de su propuesta.

1. HECHO POR ELLAS
Cortometrajes documentales, de ficción, animación, y experimental de todas las nacionalidades cuyos contenidos han sido desarrollados desde el liderazgo femenino con una mirada de diversidad, equidad y/o inclusión: dirigido por mujeres y/o escrito por mujeres.

2.HECHO POR ELLOS PARA ELLAS Y ELLES
Cortometrajes documentales, de ficción, animación, y experimental de todas las nacionalidades cuyos contenidos han sido desarrollados desde perspectiva y liderazgo masculino (desarrollo creativo, y producción) y que incluyan mujeres y/o personas LGBTIQ+ y que estén enfocados hacia temáticas de empoderamiento femenino, cierre en brechas, diversidad, inclusión y equidad. dirigido por hombres y/o escrito por hombres.

3. HECHO POR ELLES
Cortometrajes documentales, de ficción, animación, y experimental de todas las nacionalidades cuyos contenidos que reflejen las narrativas de diversidad e inclusión y hayan sido dirigidas y/o escritas por personas LGBTIQ+

4. ORGANIZACIONES EN ACCIÓN DE IGUALDAD, DIVERSIDAD E INCLUSIÓN
Cortometrajes documentales, de ficción, animación, y experimental de todas las nacionalidades cuyos contenidos reflejen las acciones que realizan las organizaciones en torno a la diversidad, equidad e inclusión y lo documentan a través de un medio audiovisual.

BASES y LEGALIDADES

Una convocatoria es un Contrato por Asociación y quien inscriba una película en cualquiera de las secciones propuestas por el Violeta Film Fest en esta plataforma, suscribe ese contrato en los términos que aquí se publican.

Se deja por sentado, que el contrato es ley para las partes, de conformidad con el artículo 1602 y S.S. del Código Civil Colombiano, por lo que al inscribir su película se obliga a las condiciones establecidas en esta convocatoria y en las dispuestas por la normativa regulatoria de la actividad cinematográfica Ley 397 de 1997, Ley 814 de 2003, Decreto 1080 de 2015 y Resolución 1021 de 2016.

CONDICIONES GENERALES

Todas las secciones sin excepción alguna deberán someterse a las siguientes reglas generales:

Cumplir con la condición de ser cortometrajes de entre 7 a 29 minutos de duración. De los géneros ficción, documental, animación y experimental, en conformidad con lo exigido en la convocatoria.

Someterse a todas las decisiones que el Comité Curador adopte, sean ellas para incluir los cortometrajes, de ficción, documental, animación y experimental, en la categoría que el comité desee ubicarlo, esto, teniendo en cuenta la facultad del Comité Curador para redefinir la categoría en la que deba participar.

Todas las piezas audiovisuales deberán contar con una copia de proyección en uno de los siguientes formatos: DCP, Apple ProRes, H264 Full HD 1920 x 1080 o superiores.

Se considerarán únicamente piezas audiovisuales producidas y/o estrenadas mundialmente en los años 2023 y 2024.

Las producciones habladas en un idioma diferente al español deben contar con subtítulos en español.

Todas las producciones deberán realizar la inscripción a través de Filmfreeway (www.filmfreeway.com).

Una vez cerrada la convocatoria, el Comité Curador podrá invitar con total libertad y según su criterio, producciones, para que hagan parte de las categorías del festival y programas especiales, aunque no hayan sido ingresadas por la plataforma de Filmfreeway.

DESCRIPTION

The international film festival Violeta Film Fest (VFF) is a festival "For the reduction of gaps, diversity, inclusion and sorority".

The festival will have screenings in the city of Bogotá (Colombia) at the Cinemateca de Bogotá - one of the best movie theaters in Colombia - as well as in the cities of Medellín and Cartagena. Those films that are selected and authorized by the filmmakers will be available on the streaming platform of Mujeres Violeta during the days of the film festival.

The Festival has 4 categories:
- Films made by Women
- Films made by Men for Women and Elles
- Films made by Elles
- Films made by organizations documenting their actions in favor of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
Seeking that the narratives reflect: Actions to be taken by society for transformation around Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

The festival welcomes short films in any language as long as they have subtitles in Spanish.

For the exhibition of short films at the Cinemateca de Bogotá, 60% must be Colombian productions and 40% from other countries. There is no restriction for other screenings.

By registering and being selected, you agree to send the authorization of use and reproduction, publicity materials and the exhibition copy of the films in the formats and times indicated.

Films selected for theatrical screening must be in Spanish or with Spanish subtitles. Films selected to be shown on the Mujeres Violeta streaming platform may have Spanish subtitles.

It is necessary to inform the projects participating in this call that their application does not imply acceptance until they are selected by the Festival's Curatorial Committee.

Once selected, all filmmakers will have access to screenings, academic activities, promotion on the festival's social networks, being on the Mujeres Violeta streaming platform and all the advantages of being hosted by the festival.

Four OFFICIAL Categories:

1. MADE BY WOMEN
Documentary, fiction, animation, and experimental short films of all nationalities whose contents have been developed from female leadership with a view to diversity, equity and/or inclusion: directed by women and/or written by women.

2.MADE BY MEN FOR WOMEN AND ELLES
Documentary, fiction, animation, and experimental short films of all nationalities whose contents have been developed from a male perspective and leadership (creative development and production) and that include women and/or LGBTIQ+ people and are focused on issues of female empowerment, closing gaps, diversity, inclusion and equity. directed by men and/or written by men.

3. MADE BY ELLES
Documentary, fiction, animation, and experimental short films of all nationalities whose content reflects diversity and inclusion narratives and are directed and/or written by LGBTIQ+ people.

4. EQUALITY, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION ORGANIZATIONS IN ACTION
Documentary, fiction, animation, and experimental short films of all nationalities whose contents reflect the actions taken by the organizations around diversity, equity and inclusion and document it through an audiovisual medium.

RULES and LEGALITIES

A call for entries is a Contract by Association and whoever registers a film in any of the sections proposed by Violeta Film Fest in this platform, subscribes to this contract under the terms published here.

It is left for granted, that the contract is law for the parties, in accordance with Article 1602 and S.S. of the Colombian Civil Code, so by registering your film you are bound to the conditions set forth in this call and in those provided by the regulatory regulations of the film activity Law 397 of 1997, Law 814 of 2003, Decree 1080 of 2015 and Resolution 1021 of 2016.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

All sections without exception shall be subject to the following general rules:

All audiovisual pieces must have a projection copy in one of the following formats: DCP, Apple ProRes, H264 Full HD 1920 x 1080 or higher.

Only audiovisual pieces produced and/or premiered worldwide in the years 2023 and 2024 will be considered.

Productions spoken in a language other than Spanish must be subtitled in Spanish.

All productions must register through Filmfreeway (www.filmfreeway.com).

Once the call for entries is closed, the Curatorial Committee will be free to invite productions to be part of the festival's categories and special programs, even if they have not been entered through the Filmfreeway platform.
