Vail Comedy Festival is heading into year five as a premier national comedy festival and second year with FILM@Vail Comedy Festival. Movies are screened to comedy festival passholders on a 14 foot wide movie screen in a beautiful destination resort ski-town in Colorado. We focus on comedy and comedy adjacent projects and celebrate how laughter can improve mental health. We love projects that reduce the stigma around talking about mental health. In 2025 we screened "Anxiety Club" with Joe List, Mark Normand, Aparna Nancherla, Marc Maron and Baron Vaughn. We will assist with travel planning if you want to attend in person, and we can provide support for online Q&A on the big screen after any screening, which we did at our 2025 FILM@Vail Comedy Festival event, with acclaimed director and producer Wendy Lobel.

Golden Alpaca - Our prize for the film that best entertains our audience and prompts improved mental health through laughter. Chosen from official selections.

Official Selection - Will be screened at the festival.

OVERALL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Language: All films must be in English
Film Age: Submitted films must be not older than 5 years (if you are a current, working stand-up comedian, reach out for permission to have the age restriction waived)

SCREENING or RENTAL FEES:
FILM@Vail Comedy Festival does NOT CONSIDER films that require SCREENING/RENTAL FEES.

TOTAL RUNNING TIME:
- Feature Film: No less than 60 minutes, no more than 120 minutes
- Short Film: No more than 10 minutes (micro-shorts under 5 minutes encouraged)
