The Gold Reel Film Festival is a student-run film festival dedicated to discovering, supporting, and inspiring UNC Charlotte student filmmakers by providing a platform to showcase their work to their peers, their families, and industry professionals.
To apply to this festival, submit your work: it can be a scripted short film, a music video, an animation, or a documentary. Please add your (SCHOOL EMAIL) and (STUDENT NUMBER). IF YOU ARE NOT A STUDENT AT UNCC, YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!!!!!
Also, include a poster for your film so that we can display it on our social media accounts and website. If you are selected, you will receive a notification on Friday, April 3rd. You may be lucky to receive prizes and meet very talented creatives!

Rules & Terms

To enter the festival, you are required to:
- Add your UNCC Email
- Give your name, First and Last
- Add a link to your Film (your film must be able to be downloaded)
- Film must be around 13 minutes long (credits count to your runtime)
- You must have a title card and end credits
- Everyone who worked on your film should be in your credits (even extras)
- PLEASE ADD A POSTER
