Twisted Tales Festival is a new festival showcasing the most twisted, weird and just plain unsettling short films in unusual venues. Prepare your eyes, it's going to be one hell of a show!

We held our first Twisted Tales Night on the 24th November 2019 in Bristol, with a few Twisted Tales Nights following that in Cardiff. After a little break, we have decided to bring you a Twisted Tales Night as part of Cardiff Mini Film Festival, at Clwb Ifor Bach on the 21st January 2024.

Twisted Tales is Brought to you by Bulldozer Films, producers of Cardiff Mini Film Festival, a festival with a focus on grassroots filmmakers since 2012.

Rules & Terms

Films must have been made after January 2020.

Our panel comprises of industry judges who are not connected with the festival. Their decision is the final decision.

We may use a short clip of your film in our festival trailer. By submitting you are allowing us to also screen your film at the festival.

There will be no refunds to those who have not read the rules for entry and find out they are not eligible to be considered.

    It was a wonderful surprise and and utter joy to have our creepy mystery short selected for the Twisted Tales Festival. It is such a reward when the hard work that goes into making a film manifests in a screening event such as this. It was a lovely choice of venue and we are so very grateful.
