Utah Film Center presents the 13th annual Tumbleweeds Film Festival for Kids April 19-20, 2024 at the Viridian Event Center in West Jordan, Utah and April 21-26, 2024 online.

Highlighted by ABC4 Utah, the Big Life Journal, the Salt Lake Tribune, and the Salt Lake City Weekly, the Mountain West’s premier kids film festival features the best independent live-action and animated feature-length and short films highlighting stories and young protagonists that both entertain and illuminate the world around us.

Tumbleweeds Film Festival for Kids is proud to announce an open call for feature-length and short live-action and animated films. Past Tumbleweeds festival film topics include comedy, drama, coming-of-age, and fantasy appropriate for ages 2-12.

To have your film considered, please submit via this FilmFreeway site. All entries will be viewed by a member of the Tumbleweeds Programming Committee. Short films must be less than 30 minutes long. Other forms of digital storytelling will be watched and considered, as long as the work explicitly expresses the ideas or tells the stories of kids ages 2-12.
