- The competition is open to every type of video work according to our categories included in “Award & Prizes” (read above), without any limitation of date of production, subject, gender and country of origin. Films with grossness, excessive sex and violence will be disqualified.
- Films in other languages than English or Italian must provide English or Italian subtitles.
- Submissions must be made through FilmFreeway. Our jury needs to log into the platform to watch each entry. Please keep your project updated.
- Submission fee is 10€ for each category (50€ for “all categories” section), plus FilmFreeway costs charged to all subscribers. All fees are non-refundable. Multiple registrations are accepted: each filmmaker can submit for one or more category, for one or more work, for each category and work we require an entry fee.
- We accept all works that meet the requirements of this rules and terms. The festival reserves the right to move your project to another category, add or delete one or more categories. Your submission does not imply the selection of your project. Once your film is selected you cannot withdraw it. The decisions of the organization and the jury are final and cannot be appealed.
- The shortlist will be published on the website and social media profiles of the organization for at least a month.
- The participant allows "Tropheum Regale International Film Festival" to use samples of your work and the data of authors, producers and crew, the movie poster via print, radio, trailer on TV or Cinema or Internet for advertising purposes without compensation.
- All the works must be original and the submitter has the responsibility to own the rights of every aspect of the film. By submitting to our festival, the participant declares and guarantees that he/she is the holder of all usage rights necessary for the use of the film in the context of this agreement and that he/she is in a position to effectively grant “Tropheum Regale International Film Festival” these rights. The participant guarantees that by using the film in the context of this agreement, no rights of third parties, including persons depicted in the film, are infringed.
- The organization do not assume liability for any postponement, suspension or cancellation of the festival. The festival reserves the right to close submissions earlier than the application deadline to allow the jury to duly examine each entry. The organization is not responsible for any mistake or omission of the same or any action or default of third parties.
- By submitting to this festival you agree to receiving marketing newsletters and discounts about film festivals in the form of emails. Your information will never be sold to third parties. By registering the film at our festival you agree to share your personal data and project information with distributors or partner festivals, but only for promotional purposes.
- By submitting to the competition you accept all these conditions. The organization reserves the right to make any changes to the rules and regulations at any time. In case of objections to this Regulation, Italian version of the same prevails.
- Subscribers to " Tropheum Regale International Film Festival " agree as established by Legislative Decree 30 June 2003, No. 196 on the protection of privacy, the use of personal data for all initiatives related to the event. The Author of the film declares to accept the Regulation in all its parts and to have the legal availability of the film, freeing the organization of the Festival from any present and future responsibility. By entering the competition each author is responsible for the content of his works. The author declares to hold all rights to the work, not in any way prejudicing the rights of third parties, such as other authors, subjects portrayed, transferees of rights, along with those of music, etc. It also declares that the audiovisual material used is not protected by SIAE. Under the provisions of Legislative Decree. 30/06/2003 n. 196, we inform the author that the data requested is necessary for completing the documentation of registration to the Festival.
