Il Trivium Festival vuole sollecitare, valorizzare e rendere concreta l’espressione artistica in ogni sua forma. La kermesse, caratterizzata da un approccio multidisciplinare all’arte, vedrà il susseguirsi di differenti specializzazioni, che spaziano dal cinema alla musica, dal teatro alle performing arts.
Il Trivium Festival è un concorso multidisciplinare aperto alle realtà artistiche professionali (nazionale e internazionale), che operano nell’ambito del cinema,della musica e del teatro.
Il festival è promosso e organizzato dall’associazione culturale Teatro del Grillo con il patrocinio del Parco Nazionale del Cilento, Vallo di Diano e Alburni, noto per i suoi paesaggi suggestivi, ricchi di arte, storia e cultura, che farà da vetrina alle diverse realtà cinematografiche,musicali, teatrali iscritte al festival.

Welcome to the Trivium Festival

The Trivium Festival is an environment where cinema, music and theater voices are celebrated.
It is wish to incite and to enhance ,making artistic expression concretise in all its forms.
The festival is divided in three categories concerining three fields of the artistic sector : cinema , theater and music which each categories will have to compete to win first prize.
The Trivium will be an artstic call for competition open to International National realities, where it will see the succession of different multidisciplinarity,ranging from cinema to music, from theater to performingarts.
The festival is promoted and organized by the no-profit cultural association Teatro del Grillo , supporting in partnership with the Cilento National Park, Vallo di Diano and Alburni, famous place for its evocative landscapes, rich in art, history and culture; it’s a beautiful opportunities will showcase the different realities cinematographic, musical, theatrical registered in the festival.

Awards & Prizes

Tipologie di concorso
Il Trivium Festival bandisce tre tipologie di concorso divise per sezioni: Concorso internazionale cinema (TFC); Concorso nazionale musica (TFM); Concorso nazionale teatro (TFT).
Categorie di concorso
Il bando è aperto a opere di cinema, musica e teatro e si rivolge alle seguenti categorie:
Trivium Festival Cinema (TFC): autori, registi, produttori e distributori cinematografici (titolari dei diritti sull’opera);
Trivium Festival Musica (TFM): cantautori, strumentisti, band e gruppi musicali, produzioni ed etichette discografiche (titolari dei diritti sull’opera) ;
Trivium Festival Teatro (TFT): compagnie e gruppi teatrali, monologhisti, performer, cabarettisti e stand up comedy, produttori e distributori teatrali (titolari dei diritti sull’ opera).
Il Trivium Festival si svolgerà ad agosto del 2021 per un totale di 3 serate evento dal 26 al 28 agosto.
Saranno nominate tre differenti giurie:
-La Giuria tecnica, nominata dalla direzione artistica del festival e composta da artisti, esperti del settore dal riconosciuto curriculum artistico e professionale, valuterà le opere per il loro valore estetico, la qualità artistica, l’originalità nello stile e nel contenuto. Ai vincitori di ogni sezione verrà assegnato il “Premio della Giuria” che prevede un riconoscimento in denaro.
-La Giuria popolare, composta dal pubblico presente in sala, decreterà l’opera vincitrice della targa “ Premio del Pubblico” per ogni sezione.
-La Giuria giovani, composta da ragazzi under 30, assegnerà la targa “Premio Giovani” alle opere di ogni sezione, che meglio sapranno raccontare il mondo giovanile.

Premi per categoria:
• Cinema
Premio in denaro di 1.000,00 € e targa al miglior cortometraggio.
• Musica
Premio in denaro di 1.000,00 € e targa alla migliore proposta musicale.
• Teatro
Premio in denaro di 1.000,00 € e targa al miglior progetto teatrale.

Tutti i finalisti riceveranno una Targa di partecipazione del Trivium Festival I edizione.

The Trivium Festival announces three types of competition divided into sections: International Film Competition (TFC); National Music Competition (TFM); National Theater Competition (TFT). The call is open to works of cinema, music and theater and is aimed at the following categories: Trivium Festival Cinema (TFC): film authors, directors, producers and distributors (holders of the rights to the work); Trivium Music Festival (TFM): songwriters, instrumentalists, bands and musical groups, productions and record labels (holders of the rights to the work); Trivium Festival Theater (TFT): theater companies and groups, monologues, performers, stand-up comedien and stand-up comedies, theater producers and distributors (holders of the rights to the work). The Trivium Festival will take place in August 2021 for a total of 3 event evenings from 26 to 28 August.
Three different juries will be appointed:
-The tecnical jury, appointed by the artistic direction of the festival and made up of artists, industry experts with recognized artistic and professional backgrounds, will evaluate the works for their aesthetic value, artistic quality, originality in style and content. The winners of each section will be awarded the "JuryPrize" which includes a cash prize.
-The popular jury, made up of the audience present during the event, will decide the winning work of the "Audience Award" plate for each section.
-The young jury, made up of peole under 30, will assign the “Youth Award” plaque to the works of each section, which will best be able to tell the world of youth.
Awards by category:
• Cinema Cash prize of € 1,000.00 and plaque for the best short film.
• Music Cash prize of € 1,000.00 and plaque for the best musical proposal.
• Theater Cash prize of € 1,000.00 and plaque for the best theatricalproject.
All finalists will receive a participation plate from the 1st editionTrivium Festival.

Rules & Terms

Requisiti di iscrizione per categoria
Cinema:
-Si accede alla selezione presentando 1 cortometraggio senza limiti di linguaggio e genere della durata non superiore ai 15 minuti, inclusi i titoli di coda;
-specificare se il cortometraggio è soggetto a diritti S.I.A.E. indicando titoli, autori e ogni riferimento utile oppure dichiarare chiaramente se non lo sono;
-tutti i film devono essere sottoposti nella lingua originale con sottotitoli in italiano o in inglese. I film in versione originale inglese devono essere sottotitolati in italiano sulla copia. La realizzazione e i costi dei sottotitoli sulla copia sono a carico dei partecipanti;
-tutti gli iscritti devono avere un’età compresa fra i 18 e i 45 anni.

Musica:
- Si accede alla selezione, presentando da un minimo di 1 a un massimo di 3 brani;
- musiche e testi originali (non sono ammesse cover);
- band e gruppi musicali composti da un minimo di 2 persone a un massimo di 8 persone;
- sono ammesse opere senza limiti di linguaggio e genere;
- tutti gli iscritti devono avere un’età compresa fra i 18 e i 45 anni e aver depositato l’opera presso la S.I.A.E. o altra società legalmente riconosciuta che tutela i diritti d’autore;
-possesso di regolare agibilità.

Modalità d’iscrizione
Le iscrizioni sono aperte dal 30 settembre 2020 alla mezzanotte del 31 marzo 2021, iscrivendosi dalla piattaforma FilmFreeway o compilando il form sul sito internet www.triviumfestival.it e allegando quanto segue :
-link video/audio a piattaforme online (YOUTUBE ,VIMEO, SOUNDCLOUD modalità copiabile/incollabile) per la visione e l’ascolto integrale dell’opera nella sezione di appartenenza, nel caso di inserimento di una password segnalarla nel modulo di iscrizione. Il link deve restare attivo fino alla conclusione del Festival. Non saranno accettati formati fisici;
-breve presentazione del progetto artistico con biografia dell’autore e foto;
-modulo di iscrizione compilato e firmato;
-il regolamento sottoscritto;
-copia del versamento della quota di iscrizione.
La quota di iscrizione per i servizi di segreteria e di organizzazione, non rimborsabile, è di Euro 10,00.
Tutti gli iscritti rispondono del contenuto delle proprie opere e dichiarano con l’iscrizione al Trivium Festival di aver adempiuto ad ogni obbligo nei confronti di terzi derivante da diritti d’autore.
La selezione delle opere pervenute, entro i limiti, i termini e le modalità previsti dal presente bando, avverrà a insindacabile giudizio della commissione interna nominata alla direzione artistica del Trivium Festival, che selezionerà in base alla qualità artistica dei progetti presentati.
Saranno selezionati per le date ufficiali del festival:
-10 cortometraggi cinematografici;
-15 progetti musicali.

L’elenco delle opere ammesse alla fase finale potrà subire delle variazioni in base al numero di iscritti per sezione e alla qualità dei singoli progetti.

Solo le opere selezionate riceveranno, tramite email, l’ammissione ufficiale al Trivium Festival, che sarà ufficializzata entro maggio 2021.
Coloro che nella suddetta data non avranno ricevuto nessuna comunicazione, potranno considerarsi automaticamente esclusi.
Ai finalisti verranno richiesti:
-Sinossi dell’opera e note di regia ( (max 2 cartelle);
-foto di scena (max 2)n in alta risoluzione;
-locandina e poster;
-i cortometraggi finalisti per la proiezione dovranno avere una risoluzione minima di 1920x1080 (Full HD) nei formati AVI, MOV, MP3, MPG.
Ai finalisti verranno comunicati preventivamente la data di esibizione e il calendario completo della manifestazione.

Entry requirements by category

Cinema:
- Access the selection by submitting 1 short film without language and genre limits with a duration not exceeding 15 minutes, including the credits.
- Specify if the short film is subject to S.I.A.E. indicating titles, authors and any useful references or clearly state if they are not.
- All films must be submitted in the original language with subtitles in italian or english. Films in the original english version must be subtitled in Italian on the copy. The realization and costs of the subtitles on the copy are borne by the participants; - All members must be between 18 and 45 years old.
Music:
- The selection is accessed by presenting from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 3 tracks;
- original music and lyrics (covers are not allowed);
- bands and musical groups composed of a minimum of 2 people to a maximum of 8 people;
- works are admitted without limits of language and genre;
- All members must be between 18 and 45 years old and have deposited the work at S.I.A.E. or other legally recognized company that protects copyright;
- possession of regular accessibility.

Submit
Registrations are open from 30 September 2020 to 12.00 am on 31 March 2021, by registering on the FilmFreeway platform or by filling out the form on the website www.triviumfestival.it and attaching the following:
- video / audio link to online platforms (YOUTUBE, VIMEO, SOUNDCLOUD copy / paste mode) for viewing and listening to the entire work in the section to which it belongs, if a password is entered, report it in the registration form. The link must remain active until the end of the Festival. Physical formats will not be accepted;
- brief presentation of the artistic project with the author's biography and photos;
- completed and signed registration form;
- the signed regulation;
-copy of the payment of the registration fee.
The non-refundable registration fee for secretarial and organization services is Euro 10.00.
All subscribers are responsible for the content of their works and declare by registering for the Trivium Festival that they have fulfilled all obligations towards third parties deriving from copyright.
The selection of the works received, within the limits, terms and methods provided for in this announcement, will be made at the discretion of the internal commission appointed to the artistic direction of the Trivium Festival, which will select based on the artistic quality of the projects presented.
Will be selected for the official festival dates:
-10 short films;
-15 musical projects.
The projects admitted to the final phase may be subject to variations based on the number of entries per section and the quality of the individual projects.

Only the selected works will receive, via email, official admission to the Trivium Festival, which will be made official by May 2021.
Those who have not received any communication on the afore mentioned date, will be automatically excluded.
Finalists will be required:
- Synopsis of the work and director's notes ((max 2 pages);
- scene photos (max 2pages) in high resolution;
- poster and poster;
- the short films finalists for the screening must have a minimum resolution of 1920x1080 (Full HD) in AVI, MOV, MP3, MPG formats.
The finalists will be notified in advance of the performance date and the complete calendar of the event.
