TREES & SEAS FILM FESTIVAL 2026

THE FABRIC OF CHANGE
Theme: Fashion as a system

One Online Festival. Multiple Locations In-Person Festivals. Global Impact.

About the Festival

Trees & Seas is where films grow roots and actions make waves.
More than a film festival, TSFF is a movement that transforms stories into action.
For 10 days, filmmakers, creatives, and communities come together across 30+ in-person global locations and online streaming to explore how we can build a more circular, connected world.

In 2025, the Trees & Seas Film Festival united more than 30 communities worldwide, where +135 in- person events inspired dialogue and collaborative local solutions.

Every submission fuels this impact. A portion of entry fees directly supports BlueCommunities, our global network of nonprofits tackling plastic pollution and driving local circular solutions.

2026 THEME: FASHION & CIRCULARITY

This year, we turn the spotlight on the fashion industry. One of the most creative and influential systems shaping culture and the planet. We invite films that explore how fashion connects identity, innovation, and environmental impact, and how circular thinking is redefining the future of style.
From sustainable sourcing and material innovation to cultural heritage, reuse, and upcycling. We welcome every perspective helping to reimagine fashion’s footprint.

Submitting to the category that best aligns with your story increases your selection chances.

TSFF is organized by genuinely dedicated groups of people from all over the world to celebrate and save our land's and ocean's ecosystems. It is an amazing community, very active in promoting and partnering culture and environmental activism. I've been very happy to have been given a chance to talk about my film and the topic it tells in a video-conference. Thank you very much TSFF, you rock!
