Through the presentation of international and Canadian films, the Festival aims to be both a window to and a mirror of Jewish culture. We undertake to show films for their contemporary, popular value, and for their ability to address the subject of Jewish identity.

I'm so honoured to have had my film Demon Box screen as part of the Oy Canada program... and receive the NexGen Prize!! Stuart and the rest of the fest team couldn't have been more welcoming. After traveling with my film around the world, it's especially humbling to meet programmers who are true cinema lovers interested in challenging audiences with innovative works. Screening my deeply personal film about generational trauma for my parents for the first time (Oy Vey!), it was incredible to present it to them with an engaged, packed audience with the best projection I've seen, pared with an intelligent Q&A. I'm grateful and touched to be a part of such an incredible festival.

We were once again delighted to participate in the festival, this year with our student film "Irit Barduggo's Bar Mitzvah." Thank you to Stuart and the team for their hard work.

We were thrilled to participate in the festival. ALthough it was virtual, we were treated well and very much appreciated. The organization was terrific and the Q&A thoughtful and revealing. It was a great experience and we go several new contacts through their website.
