We care about quality, and if your script or film is going to be evaluated properly, that takes TIME.

Our judges will carefully evaluate the quality of your work on every single level to give your script or film the time it deserves.

We know how hard writers work to write the perfect script. We also know how hard producers work to find the resources to make the perfect short film. In our eyes, you deserve 100% of our attention to provide the feedback that you need in order to grow as a writer, producer and filmmaker.

And since short films and scripts are often calling cards that open doors, that's where our focus belongs - can you, as an artist, sell buyers on your concept and talent in a matter of minutes?

As a screenwriter, will your opening 10 pages compel a reader to keep on reading? Given our professional experience over decades, by now, we know whether or not the first 10 pages have 'it' or not.

We also know that 'making the cut' in contests, festivals and competitions tells the industry that your work is at a high enough level to be considered.

We will select 2nd and 3rd place runners up along with 7 additional FINALISTS. And because in the real world only WINS and FINALIST placements really matter, no awards for lesser scoring placements will be awarded.

We will also share personal feedback over the phone, explaining where the project may have excelled. In other words, unlike other festivals and contests, we tell you WHY you won or became a part of the Top 10.

In addition, the Judges will meet up over Zoom to discuss finalist scripts and pick the winners. This session WILL be recorded and shared ONLY with the winners to provide additional insight and feedback for higher scoring submissions.

Rules & Terms

There's no need to remove title pages, please DO include your phone number. Our festival is different. We recognize your time and investment in your project - we CALL all WINNERS AND FINALISTS to notify of them if they place anywhere in the Top 10!

All creators submitting to the festival will retain ALL rights to their material.

No refunds will be made, nor will subsequent drafts be allowed once your submission is completed.

In order to comply with traditional industry-wide standards, we will NOT ever showcase your entire film online. We can and will, after discussing it with you, promote your trailer or synopsis for exposure via social media.

Submission implies acceptance of terms, including representation of ownership and rights to exhibit the film, and acknowledgment of no confidential relationship with the festival.

Submitters grant the festival rights to use film footage, stills, titles, and information for promotional purposes. All submitted photos must be clearly labeled and may be used in any festival promotions.

Non-English language produced films must have English subtitles or be dubbed in English.

Submitters agree to indemnify the festival against any claims arising from the exhibition of the film.
