Tom Blankenberg was born in 1970 in Düsseldorf/Germany, where he ́s still living today, working as a sound designer, music producer and composer.
He has written a number of soundtracks for some indie short movies, documentaries and audio books.
In 2019 he released his first Solo Piano album „atermus“.
The second one, „et“, followed in 2021.
He tours with his music in Germany and Europe .

In addition to this he has been making music videos and short documentary films for many years.
Currently he´s working on his third album and his first feature documentary.

Tom Blankenberg is founder and curator of the Düsseldorf Indie Shorts, an annual short film night for local directors.
