  • My film was lucky to be among the 70 works selected for this very first edition of the festival!
Although I couldn’t attend in person due to personal reasons, I’m proud to have been part of this exciting new adventure.
Congratulations to all the winners and a big thank you to the festival team for the invitation and this memorable experience.
It was a promising first edition, and I hope future editions will offer more opportunities for interaction with filmmakers who can't be there in person — such as live video streaming during screenings. Small improvements like that could make a big difference in helping remote creators feel more connected to the event.
See you in May 2025, perhaps?

I sadly could not attend the film festival, even though my film was selected, for personal reasons. I'm okay with that.
What i'm not okay with, is that for 2 weeks before the start of the festival and WHILE the festival was happening, i was emailing and dming the festival about questions i had eg if someone could videocall me when my film was screened etc, but i never got an answer, not once.

I had the privilege of having my film AURORA included in the official selection of TMFF’s debut edition — a festival that already feels like a true home for cinema lovers. With its eclectic and inventive programming, TMFF celebrates bold, original voices that strive to bring fresh and meaningful stories to the screen. I wish continued success to the organizers and all the filmmakers who are shaping this inspiring new cinematic world. Long live TMFF!
