    I attended and screened our short film at the inaugural Tigertail Asian Film Festival and it was a wonderful experience! Tian and the festival staff had an extraordinary lineup of quality films and were polite and attentive to filmmaker needs with excellent communication both before, during, and after the event. Highlights included the amazing quality and variety of films, networking with filmmakers, artists, and executives, and the filmmaking workshop panel discussion, along with awards ceremony. Representing the Asian filmmaking community is such an important mission and at the same time, the festival made everyone feel welcome and included. It’s hard to believe that the festival is in its first year but along with that comes the knowledge that there is tremendous growth potential and more great things to come. I can’t wait to see where it goes from here and look forward to attending the festival again in the future!
