Theta Short Film Festival

Il Theta Short Film Festival (TSFF) è un concorso internazionale dedicato ai cortometraggi che mira a creare nuove connessioni e promuovere il confronto artistico tra registi emergenti di ogni parte del mondo. Il festival rappresenta un'opportunità di scambio culturale che consente ai partecipanti di scoprire nuove prospettive creative e incontrare altri professionisti del settore. Il TSFF accoglie cortometraggi di ogni genere, dalla fiction al documentario, dall'animazione alla sperimentazione; incluse sceneggiature brevi. La selezione ufficiale del festival viene scelta da una giuria che valuta ogni cortometraggio in base a criteri estetici, narrativi e tecnici, ma anche in base alla sua capacità di emozionare, sorprendere e coinvolgere il pubblico. Tutto avviene in delle sessioni di valutazione dislocate in diversi comuni del territorio. I cortometraggi selezionati e vincitori vengono proiettati durante l'anno, dando la possibilità ai partecipanti di farsi conoscere e apprezzare da un vasto pubblico di appassionati del cinema. La seconda edizione del Theta Short Film Festival si è tenuta presso il Cinema The Space di Nola (30Nov - 1Dic), dove sono state proiettate le opere vincitrici delle dodici categorie in un evento con intermezzi attoriali, tributi danzati e musica. Il Festival ha mescolato ogni tipo di arte nella collettiva ThetArte, la mostra allestita all'interno del foyer del cinema The Space in cui hanno esposto 15 opere.

The Theta Short Film Festival (TSFF) is an international competition dedicated to short films that aims to create new connections and promote artistic comparison between emerging directors from all over the world. The festival represents a cultural exchange opportunity that allows participants to discover new creative perspectives and meet other industry professionals. The TSFF welcomes short films of all genres, from fiction to documentary, from animation to experimentation; including short screenplays. The official selection of the festival is chosen by a jury that evaluates each short film based on aesthetic, narrative and technical criteria, but also on its ability to excite, surprise and involve the public. Everything happens in evaluation sessions located in various municipalities in the area. The selected and winning short films are screened throughout the year, giving participants the opportunity to make themselves known and appreciated by a large audience of cinema enthusiasts. The second edition of the Theta Short Film Festival was held at the Cinema The Space in Nola (30 Nov - 1 Dec), where the winning works of the twelve categories were screened in an event with acting interludes, dance tributes and music. The Festival mixed every type of art in the collective ThetArte, the exhibition set up inside the foyer of The Space cinema in which 15 works were exhibited.
