Why the hen, you ask? Simple.

Because much like the story of "The Little Red Hen," indie filmmakers are go-getters who often have to grind - HARD - to realize their goals, with little support from those around them. But just like the Little Red Hen, they stay the course and make it happen.

The Red Riot Short Film Festival will showcase excellence in writing, directing, editing, and performance. We're looking for compelling stories brilliantly told, celebrating the dedicated and talented artists with a true passion for their craft.

Only 72 filmmakers will be chosen for our three-day festival. Audiences unable to attend the event will be able to access shows digitally, exposing featured filmmakers to both the national and international community.

The possibilities are endless.
