This festival is dedicated to filmmakers who are looking for an engaged audience to share their work with. We aim to create a space where short films are not just screened, but experienced, where storytellers can connect directly with viewers, receive meaningful feedback, and be part of a growing creative community.

We welcome submissions from filmmakers of all backgrounds and levels of experience. Whether your short film is bold and experimental or grounded and intimate, we are looking for work that has a clear voice and a desire to connect with an audience.

While we accept submissions from everywhere, this festival places a special emphasis on fostering community. This is why priority is given to filmmakers based in the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions, as well as those who can attend and participate in the event in person.

Beyond the screenings, this festival is also a space for collaboration, networking, and future opportunities. Our goal is not only to showcase short films but to support the amazing filmmakers behind them and help build momentum for their next projects.

* Short films must be 20 minutes or under, including credits.

* There are no premiere requirements, and we do not restrict by completion date. Films made at any time are eligible for submission.

* By submitting, you confirm that you hold all necessary rights to the film, including music and any third-party materials, and that you are authorized to submit it. All films must be original work and clear for public screening at the festival.

* We prefer submissions via online screeners (such as YouTube or Vimeo) for ease of viewing. However, this is not a strict requirement, and other formats will still be accepted.

* Multiple submissions from the same filmmaker are welcome, but each film must be submitted separately and is subject to its own entry fee.

* By submitting, you grant the festival the right to use film stills, posters, and short clips for promotional purposes related to the event.

* Submission fees are non-refundable, regardless of selection outcome.

* While submissions are open to filmmakers everywhere, priority may be given to filmmakers based in the Greater Toronto Area or those able to attend the festival in person.
