The Smalls Film Festival is an annual showcase of the very best short films from around the world. Returning to London this September with its 19th annual edition, the festival will be bringing seven unforgettable feature-length programmes to the big screen: Animation, Change, Comedy, Documentary, Drama, Music Video and Student Film.

As the roots of The Smalls, an international community of creatives, The Smalls Film Festival has been championing independent filmmaking and creative people since 2006. Over nearly two decades, the festival has become known for its ability to bring together emerging talent, established filmmakers, global award-winners, artistic innovators, and truly unmissable work.

We are seeking outstanding short films and videos that share our passion for the art of short-form storytelling. Submissions are open to filmmakers at all stages of their careers, from first-time creators to seasoned professionals. Cash prizes will be awarded to jury-selected winners in each category.
