We are committed to producing great, profitable films from great scripts on a reasonable budget.
Who says you need $200 million to make a movie? We don't. We believe that movies should focus on writing the best possible scripts and filming them. We believe that “Good work always gets notice.”
CEM was born in 1992 with the original feature film “Meet The Parents,” which debuted at The Music Box Theater in Chicago, Illinois, to great acclaim. For only $30,000 dollars - screenwriter, director and lead actor Greg Glienna produced a film so good that it attracted the attention of Hollywood.
CEM stands for Climb Every Mountain. Our name was originally inspired by the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein song for The Sound of Music. Greg found this name suitable for his production company because of the ‘mountains’ that must be climbed in order to film a successful indie film.
2022 is CEM’s rebirth with the film “The Road Dog” which will be the first in a long line of cinematic treasures.
