The aim of the Festival is to maintain the traditions of creativity, collaboration & connectedness in light of the evolution of today’s film industry

This first annual film festival allows participants to showcase projects at the event, and virtually, with the potential to monetize online.

Projects will be ranked (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place) by category. Additional award categories include (but aren't limited to): The Phoenix Awards for Best Actor, Actress, Soundtrack, Script/Screenplay, "Other" Artwork, Commercial, Short Film, Feature; and the Solstice Award for Best Project.

This year's team is "Psychology in Cinema." To be considered for participation, the words, "psychology," "phoenix," and "brain" must be incorporated somewhere in the script; OR, applicants must submit an essay of no more than 200 words describing how the film relates to a psychological theory of choice.

Additional rules and terms may be found on the Festival's website.
