Welcome to the Olderfleet International Film Festival!

Taking place at the East Antrim Boat Club in Larne, just a stones throw away from the remains of its namesake, the historic Olderfleet Castle, the OIFF will be showing an exciting variety of films from both local and international filmmakers alike.

As a non-profit festival, all proceeds will be split 50/50 between World Central Kitchen (a charity providing humanitarian aid in Gaza, Palestine), and the RNLI (a volunteer run organization saving lives at sea).

We hope that you will join us for a good time watching some fantastic films, whilst helping out a couple of very important causes.

The selection and scheduling of films screened at the festival is entirely at the discretion of the festival panel.

Failure to communicate when contacted by the festival may disqualify a selected film as an 'Official Selection'.

In the interest of fairness, no projects worked on by any members of the panel will be shown. In the event of a submitting filmmaker being friends/ family/ any other relationship that may cause a bias, with a member/ members of the panel, said panellist will abstain from the panels choice of whether to include said filmmakers film in the final programming.

We have no premiere status requirements, but if this is a premiere for your film, we would love to know.

We would also love if all films that we show are available to log on letterboxed, but this will in no way affect your chances of being shortlisted or winning.

By entering the festival, the film maker agrees to let us use excerpts from their projects for potential use in publicity and promotion of the event. In addition the festival may offer a live stream during, or briefly after the in person screening, in which case by entering you agree to have your work be made briefly publicly viewable online for a maximum of 24 hours starting on the day of / day after the the OIFF

I really enjoyed myself at The Olderfleet International Film Festival. I found everyone really supportive of my film and very welcoming. I will definitely be back to the next one even if I don’t have a film screening.
