The Oaks Film Festival is the location for films and scripts who seek an audience. We are a west coast based festival with judges whose interests range from documentaries to dramas, comedy to kitsch, shorts to the horrific but are all involved in films. Living near Los Angeles you cannot help but be somehow drawn to the industry, pulled in even on the fringes. It doesn't take long before you find yourself at indie film showings and wandering streets in search of that next gem. The next one that makes you exclaim to complete strangers “I have to tell you about this film...”
That is the magical moment. We'd like to help you get there.

All entrants and winners will receive laurels.
Despite the event date, the festival is a yearlong event we are constantly reviewing and judging, selecting our winners on a bi-yearly basis. You may submit in multiple categories, but only those who enter a main category are eligible to win in categories they did not enter.
Note we are currently an online judging and awards festival only.
Our list of winners will remain on our site until the conclusion of the next season.
