The Nutmeg Film Festival is a film festival celebrating Connecticut locally filmed content. Submitters must have filmed in Connecticut or the theme of the movie taken place in Connecticut. We also have an open submission for USA and International submissions. This is a virtual event; we will have a network gathering to invite all official selections prior to the event. This festival is managed and run by MCGEE PRODUCTIONS USA serving Connecticut since 2017.

Rules & Terms

For CT Submissions; Submitters must have filmed in Connecticut or the theme of the movie taken place in Connecticut or they can submit to the non Connecticut categories. Movies submitted may exist in shown on stream sites and sites such as YouTube, e etc.

*Award winners will be asked permission by, "The Nutmeg Film Festival," to download your project/script. By doing so; you also agree we use you're content for promotion and marketing and we may interview you about you're project.

**Winners will receive laurel email recognition status. Also the winner of, "The Nutmeg Trophy Award," shall be shipped keep-sake trophy.
