The Nutmeg Film Festival is an in-person film festival celebrating Connecticut locally filmed content. Submitters must have filmed in Connecticut or the theme of the movie taken place in Connecticut. We also have an open submission for USA and International submissions. Festival screening is in Connecticut. This festival is managed and run by MCGEE PRODUCTIONS USA serving Connecticut since 2017.

Rules & Terms

Submitters must have filmed in Connecticut or the theme of the movie taken place in Connecticut or they can submit to the non Connecticut categories. Movies submitted must be filmed between 2021-2022 and could also be on streaming sites such as YouTube, Amazon Prime, etc. Content filmed earlier will not be accepted.

*Award winners will be asked permission by, "The Nutmeg Film Festival," to download your project/script. By doing so; you also agree we use you're content for promotion and marketing and we may interview you about you're project.

**Winners will receive recognition award and or trophy depending on project won during our in-person film festival held in person in Connecticut in July 2023.
