⚖️Welcome to the Hollywood Guerrilla Film Festival. By participating, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions:

⚖️Eligibility: Filmmakers are invited to submit their completed projects. We accept films up to 20 minutes in length, completed no earlier than 12 months prior to the entry date.

⚖️Submission: Short film submission to the festival is FREE via FilmFreeway. Filmmakers may submit their short film(s) without any entry fee.

⚖️Voting Access and Fee: To gain voting rights for all entries in the festival, a one-time ticket purchase is required. The ticket fee provides voting access for the purchaser.

⚖️Voting Procedure: Each ticket purchase grants the holder three (3) votes. However, these votes cannot be used to vote for the same film three times. Participants are allowed to vote once for their own submission.

⚖️Supporting Other Filmmakers: The structure of our festival encourages filmmakers to support their peers in the indie film industry. Filmmakers are welcome to invite their network to support their film, as well as other films in the festival.

⚖️Ticket Purchase and Voting Rights: Each ticket purchase includes three (3) votes. You do not need to have a film in the festival to purchase a ticket and cast votes.

⚖️Disclaimer: The Hollywood Guerrilla Film Festival (HGFF) is committed to promoting a culture of respect, inclusivity, and legality. We expressly disclaim all liability for any violations of laws and regulations committed by the submitting filmmaker. This includes, but is not limited to, breaches of copyright, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, and any local or international laws applicable to the production, distribution, and exhibition of the submitted film.

The filmmaker is solely responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions, licenses, and clearances, and for ensuring that the film does not infringe upon the rights of any third party. Any legal fees, penalties, or other consequences arising from such infringements are the exclusive responsibility of the filmmaker. HGFF will not be held accountable or pay any legal fees related to the submission.

By submitting a film to HGFF, the filmmaker acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions, and indemnifies HGFF against all claims, demands, losses, damages, judgments, liabilities, and expenses arising out of or in connection with any and all claims of third parties, whether or not groundless, based on any film submitted to the Festival.

The filmmaker understands that being selected for the final round does not guarantee a win. The selection of winners is at the sole discretion of the HGFF judging panel. Furthermore, HGFF does not require the filmmaker to attend any live event associated with the festival. Participation in any such event is entirely at the discretion of the filmmaker.

By submitting your film to the Hollywood Global Film Festival (HGFF), you hereby grant HGFF the non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and worldwide right to use excerpts, still images, posters, and any promotional materials associated with your film for the purpose of marketing, advertising, and promoting HGFF and its events. This includes, but is not limited to, the HGFF official website, social media platforms, YouTube, Vimeo, and Eventive channels. Your submission implies your understanding and acceptance of HGFF's right to utilize these materials in connection with the promotion of the festival and your film.

HGFF reserves the right to disqualify any film that it determines, in its sole discretion, violates any law or could be seen as endorsing or promoting illegal activities, hate crimes, violence, or harm to vulnerable individuals or groups. While we respect freedom of expression, we are committed to maintaining a festival environment that is safe, respectful, and legal for all participants.

By submitting your film, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not submit your film. We reserve the right to change or modify these terms and conditions without prior notice. It is the responsibility of the participants to keep themselves informed about any changes.
