The Fair Flix Film Festival exists to celebrate what independent film has always been at its best: bold, original, uncompromising, and made entirely on its own terms. We are here for the films that don't fit neatly into what the industry expects, and for the filmmakers who made them anyway. We reward true indie spirit in all its forms: ambition, creativity, professionalism, originality, and artistic integrity. If you made something that deserves to be seen, this festival was built for you.

Independent film has a rich and extraordinary history, and the ways we share, distribute, and experience it are evolving faster than ever before. Fair Flix was created to sit at the intersection of that history and that future, honoring the tradition of indie filmmaking while embracing the new and exciting ways audiences are discovering and connecting with independent work. We believe that independent film is inherently valuable, not because of who distributed it, what it cost, or whether the industry took notice, but because of the truth and vision inside it. Our mission is simple: to give films that haven't found their home yet exactly the home they deserve.

The Fair Flix Film Festival is both an in person event and a fully digital experience, because great films deserve to be felt in a room and seen everywhere. Selected filmmakers will be featured prominently on the Fair Flix Film Club streaming platform: spotlighted at the top of our website and showcased in our featured carousel for the duration of the festival. But here's what makes this selection truly special: every film chosen for the Fair Flix Film Festival is automatically awarded a place in the Fair Flix Film Club streaming library. This is not just a festival selection, it is a distribution opportunity. Your film will live on a growing, curated platform dedicated exclusively to true independent cinema, alongside a community of filmmakers who share your values and your vision.

After the festival concludes, filmmakers retain full control of their work. You may choose to keep your film in the Fair Flix Film Club library as part of our permanent Fair Flix Film Festival 2026 Playlist, or you may remove it at any time. We are a non-exclusive platform, your participation here will never conflict with your other distribution plans.

More than a screening series, Fair Flix is a community.
