The ArtsFest Film Fest is a vibrant new addition to New Rochelle's renowned annual ArtsFest celebration. This exciting festival is dedicated to spotlighting filmmakers who are passionate about crafting unique and compelling stories, offering a platform for artists to share their creative visions with the community. Through a diverse selection of films, the festival highlights the power of storytelling and the artistic expression that drives the world of cinema.

Now in its second year, the ArtsFest Film Fest is expanding its offerings to include not only captivating film segments, but also insightful panels featuring industry professionals such as directors, writers, actors, and more. This year, the festival is thrilled to announce that one of its esteemed judges will be Monique Gabriela Curnen, widely recognized for her powerful portrayal of "Blanca Rodriguez" in the hit series “Power” and its hugely popular spinoff, “Power Book II: Ghost.” Her involvement adds an exciting dimension to the event, enhancing its commitment to celebrating a wide array of voices and perspectives in the world of film.

Eligibility
The ArtsFest Film Fest is open to all filmmakers interested in submitting their work.

Submission
Submit your film as early as possible. Only YouTube or Vimeo links will be accepted. Films must either be in English or include English subtitles.

Fees
The ArtsFest Film Fest does not cover screening, rental, or licensing fees for submitted films. Filmmakers are responsible for all travel and associated expenses.

Film Rights
All submitted films must be free of legal disputes. Filmmakers must ensure that all rights and releases are cleared, including those for music, images, graphics, and trademarks.

Assets
If your film is selected, you must provide digital stills, press materials, promotional clips, and a trailer (if available). Ensure these assets are current and uploaded to your FilmFreeway account.

Use of Materials
By submitting your film, you grant The ArtsFest Film Fest the nonexclusive right to use footage, stills, titles, and other materials from the film, along with your name, photo, and likeness, for promotional purposes before, during, and after the festival.

Liabilities
The ArtsFest Film Fest is not responsible for any materials lost or damaged during submission or screening. Please have a backup file prepared incase.

Ownership
By submitting your film, you confirm that you are the sole owner of all rights to the material and have full authority to submit it to The ArtsFest Film Fest.

By submitting your film, you acknowledge that The ArtsFest Film Fest will NOT pay you to present your work.

Accuracy
By entering, you confirm that all provided information is accurate and agree to comply with all festival rules and guidelines.

General Submission Guidelines:
- Submit as early as possible for a smoother process.
- All films must be submitted digitally.
- Films should not be commercially available on platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, Netflix, etc. - If selected, films must be removed from these platforms to ensure a unique screening experience.
- Filmmakers attending the festival are responsible for their travel and expenses.
- Filmmakers must assist in promoting their screenings if selected.
- All submitted films must be free from legal disputes, with all necessary rights and releases cleared by the filmmaker.
- Only the submitted version of the film will be considered. Changes or alternate cuts after submission are not allowed.
- Selected filmmakers will be required to provide digital stills, press materials, promotional clips, and trailers (if available). Ensure these are current and uploaded to FilmFreeway.
- By submitting, you grant AFF the right to use your film’s content for promotional activities before, during, and after the festival.
- All posters must be submitted in portrait format.
- All Screenplays must be submitted with the adapted film.

Additional Information:
- Materials such as drives, discs, and film prints cannot be returned. Do not submit - irreplaceable original media.
- The ArtsFest Film Fest is not responsible for any lost or damaged materials.
- Filmmakers indemnify the festival and its team from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from submission.
- By submitting, you confirm you are the sole owner of the submitted work and have the authority to submit it.
