The Aeries is a red carpet drone film festival and awards ceremony that celebrates the artistry, innovation, and storytelling of aerial cinematography. Taking place in Beverly Hills at the iconic Mr. Brainwash Museum, The Aeries honors filmmakers who are redefining visual storytelling through the use of drone technology.
This exclusive event brings together filmmakers, industry professionals, and media for a one-of-a-kind showcase of creative achievement. With only 100 seats available, The Aeries offers an intimate and prestigious experience set against the backdrop of award season in one of the world’s most celebrated cultural destinations.
The Aeries features five award categories:
• Best Overall Drone Film
• Best FPV One Shot
• Best Choreographed Flight Scene
• Best Cinematography
• Best Subject
Each category recognizes excellence in technical mastery, creativity, and storytelling. All finalist films are screened before a live audience and industry jury during the official event, with winners presented on stage at the Mr. Brainwash Museum.
Filmmakers from around the world are invited to submit their original work showcasing at least 80 percent drone footage. The Aeries does not accept AI-generated imagery or sound, and all entries must feature original or properly licensed music.

Awards & Prizes
The Aeries Drone Film Festival and Awards Ceremony recognizes excellence in drone cinematography across five categories:
• Best Overall Drone Film – Awarded to the most outstanding production demonstrating exceptional storytelling, cinematography, and creativity.
• Best FPV One Shot – Honors the most captivating single-sequence FPV flight that blends technical precision with artistic vision.
• Best Choreographed Flight Scene – Celebrates the most dynamic use of movement and coordination in drone cinematography, whether capturing action, emotion, or synchronized visuals.
• Best Cinematography – Recognizes outstanding visual composition, lighting, and camera control that elevate storytelling through aerial imagery.
• Best Subject – Awarded to the film that best captures its subject through unique aerial perspective, emotion, and narrative strength.
All finalists’ films will be screened at the Mr. Brainwash Museum in Beverly Hills during the red carpet awards ceremony on Saturday December 6 2025.
Each winner will receive:
• The Aeries Trophy, symbolizing excellence in drone filmmaking
• Official recognition and press inclusion in post-event announcements
• Featured placement on The Aeries website and social media
• Invitation to future collaborations, screenings, and networking opportunities
Finalists will be honored live on stage during the ceremony, with select films featured in official promotional materials.
