​The TEXAS FAITH & FAMILY FILM FESTIVAL is about promoting and encouraging awareness, appreciation and understanding of faith and family films with a strong emphasis is placed on nurturing the next generation of filmmakers.

The TEXAS FAITH & FAMILY FILM FESTIVAL will take place JUNE 14 -15, 2024. THIS WILL BE AN ONLINE FESTIVAL! This international festival is all about family oriented projects and encouraging families to get more involved in faith. This festival also highlights and promotes contacts between industry professionals to assist inspiring faith and family based filmmakers.

Rules & Terms

Eligibility:
The FAITH & FAMILY TEXAS FILM FESTIVAL is open to anyone, anywhere around the world.

Festival Dates:
June 14 - 15, 2023

Short Films:
Between 1 and 35 minutes

Feature Films:
36 minutes or more

Date of Production:
Films must have been produced after March 1, 2019.

Number of films per Producer:
Unlimited

Do I have to attend the festival?
No. But you are highly encouraged.

Submission Form:
Via Vimeo or Youtube links or any other online platform.

Deadlines and Submission Fees:
June 9, 2023
Feature films: $25
Short films: $15
Music Videos: $15
Trailer: $15
Screenplays: $15

Language:
Feature films and short films in a language other than Spanish or English must be subtitled in these languages for the presentation of the festival.

Official Selection
Decisions are made by a committee of film industry professionals. Screening locations and times during the festival will be randomly selected.

Notification of Acceptance:
June 14, 2024

Projection:
The Festival is open to the public. Accredited national and international press, as well as buyers and distributors of film and television.

    I seen a few reviews that experienced the same thing I did. My film "Devil in My Dreams" was an official selection. I found out literally two days before the event was to take place. I checked the website and all the information was old and not updated. When I e-mailed them to find out where the festival was so I could attend and I received no response. I later received a general e-mail saying how great the festival was.

    But, it is what it is. Just thought I would share my experience so more people are aware.

    Our feature was accepted as an official screening, we got notice the night before, no way to travel and attend, phone calls where not returned nor were emails. After contacting filmfreeway to find out. we finally got an email 4 days after the event stating they had a change of venue. We could not have shown our feature as it is not downloadable, and as I did not have any communication from them, I could not supply them with a link. Very strange indeed.
