We will be holding our bi-monthly "Movie Night" Film Festival, and our "Industry Night"

Tampa Bay Film Society is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization in Tampa Bay, FL. Our members pay low annual dues, and many are active in the film business, from actors to crew

All foreign films must have English subtitles

The months in-between serve as an Industry Night, a night to meet local enthusiasts.

We screen our members works and the works of local filmmakers. However, we would like to expand the festival to include works from around the globe.

We offer Laurels to the best-liked film of the evening, as judged by the members and members of the public in attendance after the screenings are completed.

*Content Restriction Update

We are not currently screening works containing nudity or soft or hardcore pornography. We reserve the right to consider "borderline" entries on a case-by-case basis

The Tampa Bay Film Society Board of Directors will choose which short film will screen at our Movie Night

The filmmaker has ONE WEEK to reply with a link to download a (2GB or Under) MP4 of their entry to screen

The best thing to do is just to make the film readily available for download, so we don't even need to contact you to ask for a link

After my short film was shortlisted for the film festival, I haven't received any information for nearly two months, including the laureate。

We apologize. We are going through a revamping of the Tampa Bay Film Society. Please send us an email and we will send you a waiver code to submit your film for free. - officialtampabayfilmsociety@gmail.com

  • Absolutely WOW! Amazing! First-class! Awesome overall presentation! I am honored to have had both of my 'older' shorts screened, presented, and appreciated by TBFS. "The Lines In Their Faces" and "Something Wicked Dwells" were treated respectfully and professionally. Thank you so much! The Editor who pieced the entire program together for YouTube did a fantastic job! Bravo! And, kudos!
