TOUT COURT - Nuove Voci del Cinema Francofono (New Voices of Francophone Cinema) is a festival which celebrates short films made by up and coming, emerging filmmakers from the francophone world. The programme brings together both works which have had resonance on the international film scene, as well as those who have not yet been screened. The festival is hosted annually at the Cinema Lumière, Bologna.

The idea of TOUT COURT is to promote the short film as a territory of experimentation and a particular expression of the vitality of cinema.

The choice of language as the fil rouge in the selection of films becomes the co-ordinate through which to perceive the cultural diversity and historical complexity that characterise French-speaking countries, recounted by moving images.

Premiazione del pubblico (Peoples' choice)

We focus our selection on recent productions from emerging directors from francophone countries all over the world.

Partial if not all dialogue in French (in its various forms, variations and expressions) is preferred but not mandatory.

There are no limits on genre when it comes to submissions: we are open to all - from animation to documentary, from experimental to drama and so on. We welcome variety and keep only francophonie itself as the connecting thread.
