Thailand, celebrated for its vibrant culture and spirit of inclusivity, is proud to host the second edition of Thailand International LGBTQ+ Film Festival& TV Festival "TILFF". This event shows our ongoing commitment to championing diversity, inclusivity, and freedom. Featuring an impressive lineup of Thai and international films, the festival will be a jubilant celebration of gender diversity and a platform to support the unique voices of LGBTQ+ filmmakers.

Thailand aims to declare itself as a home, a safe space, and a global hub for the LGBTQ+ community. TILFF is an official national festival, with the support of Thai government ministries.

Films will be screened at the ICON Cineconic at ICONSIAM in central Bangkok between September 2-7, 2025.

SHORT FILM COMPETITION
A panel of film professionals will judge the juried awards. The list of awards and prizes includes:

ENTRY ELIGIBILITY (SHORT FILM)
▪︎ Submissions are open to filmmakers around the world.
▪︎ Films must be no longer than 30 minutes in length, including credits.
▪︎ Submissions are open to films that were produced after January 1, 2024.
▪︎ All non-Thai and English language films must be submitted with English subtitles.
▪︎ All genres and types of filmmaking are welcome, including but not limited to: fiction, documentary, animation, and experimental.
▪︎ No premiere requirement.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
▪︎ All submissions must be free from any legal disputes, and the filmmaker must have cleared all rights for music and exhibition. Applicants are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary rights and permissions for third-party materials included in their films, including but not limited to music, trademarks, logos, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights. The Thailand International LGBTQ+ Film & TV Festival expressly disclaims all liability or responsibility for any violations of the foregoing.
▪︎ By submitting the film, the submitters agree that film information will be retained in the TILFF database for archival and research purposes, irrespective of whether the film is selected.
▪︎ For selected films, applicants must send screening copies of the film (accepting formats include DCP, MP4, MOV) and promotional materials including film information, still photos, digital version of film poster, photos and biography of each director to the programming team. A full timed dialogue list must be provided to the festival so that Thai subtitles can be translated and added for screenings.
▪︎ By agreeing to participate in the festival, submitters grant TILFF a right to screen the film at the festival from September 1st to 5th, 2025. The filmmakers agree that their film may be shown at the festival for one or two screenings, and that no screening fee will be paid.
▪︎ TILFF is granted permission to use excerpts from the film (limited to 10% of the total length and not exceeding three minutes), along with the provided promotional materials from the submitters for press and public relations activities. This includes sharing the materials with the festival’s partners and media.
▪︎ The judges’ decision is final and irrevocable.
▪︎ TILFF holds the right to change submission conditions without prior notice.
