Welcome to Synergy Film Festival. We are an annual competition based in Los Angeles. We want the best worldwide film stories to promote filmmakers and help them to reach bigger audiences.

The Synergy Film Festival is an open door for independent and student filmmakers. It's a special jury formed by professional filmmakers.

The Festival offers you the chance to meet other filmmakers and industry professionals to exchange ideas and collaborate in a highly creative and inspiring atmosphere.

The festival accepts movies from all over the world under different categories such as Feature-Foreign Films, Short films, Animation, Music videos, Student movies, Web series/video, Experimental movies, Feature scripts, and Short scripts.

If you’re an aspiring director, you will know that it is crucial for your work to be appreciated no matter the size of the audience or the budgets of the films you compete against. At Synergy Film Festival we care about your skills and vision.

Rules & Terms

All scripts must be in English to be considered. All foreign-language films must include English subtitles.

Submission Eligibility:

All submissions must have been completed after January 1, 2023.

There is no premiere policy.

Exhibition Format:

Communication:

Please disregard any automatic notifications from FilmFreeway. If you don't hear from us directly via email (info@Synergyfilmfestival.com), please bear with us as we carefully review all submissions with extreme care and consideration.

Event Details:

Synergy Film Festival provides an award ceremony only, with no full film or live screenings.

Awards:
Synergy Film Awards will present certificates, laurels, and trophies to nominated submissions in various categories for cinematic excellence.

Rules:
→ All films must be submitted in English or with English subtitles.
→ All films must have been made in or after 2023.
→ Winners may receive their trophy at the award ceremony.
If you are unable to attend, a shipping fee will apply should you wish to have your trophy mailed to you.
→ Filmmakers are responsible for securing copyright permissions for their materials.
→ By submitting, you grant us the right to screen your film in front of a live audience.
→ If you do not hear from us, your project is not a nominee.
→ We may promote clips from your film on the FilmFreeway platform or social media, based on the press kits you provide.
→ We reserve the right to change the date and venue of the festival under special circumstances. Filmmakers will be informed of any changes via our online platforms.
→ We do not place restrictions on your work regarding premiere status or online availability.
→ Technical issues with submitted films are the responsibility of the filmmakers. Submissions with non-functioning video files or missing English subtitles (for non-English films) will be rejected without a refund. Please contact the festival team ASAP to resolve any submission issues.
→ Refunds are not provided.
→ By submitting, you agree to our terms and conditions and consent to receive marketing newsletters and discounts related to film festivals via email. We will not sell your information to third parties.
→ We reserve the right to update our terms and conditions.
