Awards & Prizes

Our festival operates on a dynamic two-month selection cycle. This approach helps us create more opportunities for talented filmmakers and passionate audiences to connect.
Every two months, we carefully choose six standout projects that earn a place in our annual lineup. These selected works will compete for prestigious awards and cash prizes.
The final showcase is set to tour various international locations, offering winners a unique opportunity to travel, present their films to global audiences, and broaden their creative horizons.

Rules & Terms

We accept films of any genre and length.

SFF may use promotional materials such as trailers, teasers, posters, stills, and behind-the-scenes footage; however, the full film will never be published or distributed under any circumstances. Once a project is officially selected, it cannot be withdrawn.

We do not offer fee waivers. All entry fees are final and non-refundable. The submitter must hold full rights to the submitted work.

The selection committee’s decisions are final and cannot be contested.

Multiple submissions are allowed. Each project must be entered separately with a corresponding entry fee.

By submitting, you confirm that your film is your original creation and that you have secured all necessary rights, including for music, images, and any other copyrighted materials used.

Submitted films must have been completed after January 2016. Films not in English must include English subtitles.

Winners invited to the annual program are required to send a version of their film without burned-in subtitles along with an .srt file (English subtitles) within two weeks of the official announcement.
