  • Thank you, folks at STUFF, for selecting "My Shadow", and thank you audience at STUFF for making it Audience Choice- Best International Short. This is THE reason we enter it in festivals-- to get it before audiences like STUFF's who appreciate it, who are entertained, who might talk about it on the way home, thinking about it, or maybe saying (we imagine) "what the heck was that... that was strange ... but intriguing." We don't enter expecting to find some big distributor (I mean, who does for most shorts, lol), we enter because we love results like STUFF-- people watching our film-- so thank you again STUFF org.

STUFF organizers were great with communication and, although we could not attend, it is clear they run a superb and honest festival, and that it is all about a love of the art of film.

    Sincerely,
    Paul Burke (producer)

Had such a great time at the second edition of STUFF! I was so honoured to have my short film included in the Experimental block, and to be able to travel down to Sudbury to participate in the screening and Q&A. Beth and Simone were such lovely hosts and put together an excellent program. So looking forward to next year!
