The Stockholm International Flickfest is an annual festival for short films held in Stockholm, Sweden. Since its establishment in 2019, the festival has been exclusive to Swedish filmmakers. This is going to change coming January 2023 — with the festival now being held online to welcome filmmakers around the world.

Laurels and certificates will be awarded to the winners of these awards and those chosen for the official selection.

Rules & Terms

The representative of the short film (Director/Producer) must be at least 18-years-old. This is the legal age in Sweden.

Participants must have ownership rights to the short film being entered into the festival.

No restrictions on race, gender, religion, ethnicity, etc.

Entries should not exceed 20 minutes including the opening and closing credits.

Entries should not have been submitted in previous installments of the festival.

Entries should have subtitles in English. This applies to both English and Foreign Language films.
