The inaugural Starshooter International Film Festival, a film festival championing the visionary artists and independent filmmakers will be held at the Laemmle Monica Film Center in beautiful Santa Monica, California, 03/17/2023 - 03/23/2023.
Submissions are open for shorts, feature films, documentaries, web series, pilots, music videos, animation, fan made, international and of course screenplays of every genre! Please look at the AWARDS to see all categories.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Starshooter International Film Festival aims to champion independent filmmakers and artists, who at one time dreamed of the experience of working on a film set and made it happen. It all starts with a vision; that vision turning into a belief, that belief turning into dedication, and that dedication resulting in achievement. Nothing is impossible! This festival is for the "Starshooters", the ones who dream big and follow through no matter the obstacles.
Your film's budget is of no concern to the programming at the Starshooter International Film Festival, nor premiere eligibility. You worked hard to make your film! You paid money to give it a chance to be seen! Simply put, WE WANT YOUR FILM!
Every genre is accepted, and films will be placed in blocks of similar tone or close to it. We encourage all attendees to stay for the duration of the filming blocks, and believe it is in everyone's best interest to sit through films of similar tone to what they came to see.
