Cinema St. Louis presents its first French Film Festival, a showcase dedicated entirely to the freshest voices in contemporary French cinema. The program features a hand-picked lineup of documentary and narrative shorts, each under twenty minutes, highlighting the bold storytelling, inventive craft, and cultural range coming out of France today. From intimate character studies to sharply observed nonfiction, the festival offers St. Louis audiences a concentrated hit of what filmmakers across France are exploring right now. It’s a chance to discover emerging talent, experience standout work that rarely reaches American screens, and celebrate the art of short filmmaking in all its forms.
