**This opportunity is for self-identifying Ukrainian filmmakers only.

The worldwide “Believe in Ukraine” event will take place February 24, 2024, in Buffalo New York and 40 cities across the globe, to show solidarity with the brave Ukrainian people as they face the second anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

We are compiling a slate of short films for a specially curated short film program at “Believe in Ukraine” events worldwide.

We’re seeking film submissions up to 10 minutes long (narrative, documentary, experimental, or animation), to bring more understanding and appreciation of Ukraine and the Ukrainian experience to the world, however that may be expressed.

All filmmakers are welcome and encouraged to submit their work for the film program at the Buffalo event, and other cities/events that are part of the Believe in Ukraine worldwide events, and future diasporic events in support of Ukraine.

We’ll feature all filmmakers names and biographies in all film program materials. Screening fees and awards are not part of this program.
