South Carolina Cultural Film Festival is a multi-cultural film organization dedicated to developing, promoting and increasing awareness of film and film production. We do this by presenting a wide variety of film related workshops, speakers and panel discussions. The programming represents a great diversity of themes and genres from talented filmmakers across America. Taking place during the North Charleston Cultural Arts Festival where over 20,000 participate in the world of Art. The three day film festival also feature opportunities for attendees to participate in discussions with directors at each screening as well as a series of special events highlighting the production process, script writing and film distribution. In addition, filmmakers will get the opportunity to view the vast film locations available for filming in the city of North Charleston and the state of South Carolina.

Trophies Awarded - Best Short, Feature, Documentary and International Film. Best Actor, Director, Screenplay, and Music Score.

Rules & Terms

Select Features, Documentary, Short Films and International Films participate in the Festival’s four competitive sections, the winners of which are chosen by special juries. Awards are given for the Best Short, Documentary, Feature, Music Video, and International film. All categories are eligible for the Audience Awards, which is chosen based on ballots
submitted by the festival audience.
