Six Feet Under is an ALL-YEAR horror film fest in Colorado Springs featuring events every few months! We typically select submissions based on how well they fit into a particular upcoming show. Our deadlines and posted fest date do not necessarily correlate with any given Six Feet Under show.

We are calling primarily for short film submissions to screen at our 2026 events taking place on July 12th, October 4th, and December 6th!

We also invite full-length feature submissions -- who knows, we might just dedicate an entire show to you!

Awards & Prizes

Our festival goers will vote for Best Short Film (i.e., "Audience Award") at each show!

Rules & Terms

All entrants accept that their film may not be accepted. If Six Feet Under is questioned why a particular entry was not chosen, our answer will be that it did not meet the needs of our event.

    Dan and the whole Six Feet Under Film Festival team were great. From beginning to end, they were communicative and kind. I wasn't able to attend in person, but The Itch won Best Short and Dan has been in touch since to arrange mailing the trophy as well as passing along feedback from the festival.
    They are really active promoting the fest on social media and this was all around a great experience!
