Silver Lake Shorts is a Los Angeles based non profit screening series hosting monthly events that are always free to submit to. Cartuna is a Brooklyn based indie animation studio that prides itself in championing and hiring indie animators. After hosting an awesome partnership event in LA last Summer, Silver Lake Shorts + Cartuna have once again joined forces for a Blessed Brooklyn Union. And they're stoked to feature original work from incredible NYC based filmmakers. And they're stoked to feature original work from incredible NYC based filmmakers. We'll have laughs, vibes and surprises galore. Doors open at 7! Screening starts at 8! Big hang out afterward at Parklife.

Rules & Terms

1) Submitter must have full rights to submit and screen their short

2) We ask that the filmmakers are able to attend the night of the screening

3) Submissions over 10 minutes long are harder to program, but feel free to submit anyway

4) Films made over the past two years preferred, but send anything GOOD, FUN, EXCITING, SILLY, WEIRD AND EARNEST
