Show Us Your Shorts 2018 is an opportunity for Short Film makers of all ages and experience. It was created to encourage young or emerging film makers and has a successful track record now over this past 10 years. Most of our winners have gone on to make a career in the film industry.

Award winners will be announced during the 2018 Warburton Film Festival held on June 15-17 and we hope that film makers submitting films will be able to attend the presentation.

A film which wins an Award in one category will not be considered for another category. For example, if a particular film wins the Golden Shorts Award, then it will not be considered for the Junior, Senior or Local award.

Judging will be held in May after the close of entries. Judges decisions are final.

Merit certificates will be issued to those short films selected to be screened during the festival weekend. The films selected for a merit certificate will be screened during the Warburton Film Festival with the Award presentations made during the festival.

Acknowledgment of receipt of entry will be provided for all other film submissions.

Show Us your shorts is an excellent competition within the Warburton Film Festival, they're supportive of youth filmmakers and give cash prizes which makes it great for helping finance the next film! I've had fantastic experiences on many occasions when i've attended, its lovely to get out of the city and socialise with like minded film lovers. I hope the festival and competition continues to grow as big as the trees in Warburton!

A marvellous and very well organised film festival situated right in the heart of Victoria, Australia's stunning Yarra Ranges. They presented a wonderfully diverse selection of short films and feature films inside a large theatre complex and the hospitality was delightful. Their prizes were great and I would encourage any film maker to make their next film submission to Show Us Your Shorts! It will be one of the best submissions you'll make!
