"Shorts Showcase" provides exposure of your short film to thousands of viewers via our television show and our global audience online.
We accept short films from all over the world for our online and television program, which reaches tens of thousands of viewers each week. We also provide you Insider Tips on equipment, lighting and the tools of the trade, plus even some interviews from producers, directors, actors and etc. Our TV show reaches over 1 million viewers each week in Southern California! The show airs three times - on ABC, CBS and FOX affiliate stations late Saturday nights in the Coachella Valley.
Shorts Showcase is like any other film festival - except we provide exposure of your film to a global audience. We encourage filmmakers to go through their "festival circuit" first, because most live film festivals do not want films that have had too much exposure - and well, we provide a LOT of exposure.
Our submission period this year is through November 30, 2023. Voting occurs between December 15, 2023 - Jan 10, 2024 - and people can vote from all over the world via online! We provide CASH Prizes for Best Narrative - Drama and Comedy, Best Documentary, Best Animated and Best Student films.
We have certain rules: NO excessive violence, no gore, no porn of any kind. Most profanity will be "bleeped" if your film is selected for our TV program. Not all films submitted will make it to the television show - but all submissions, if appropriate and are under 20 minutes TRT, are open for that.
