Since the tender age of three Regina has been a character; it’s in her blood. Regena was Born in Seattle, WA to Richard and Joyce Grundy. Richard (deceased) was a musician and played bass guitar with his own band; he also was a golden glove boxer. Joyce is a retired surgical tech nurse and an Evangelist Missonary. Her mother always kept her in activities such as drill team, modeling and the church choir. At age nine in 1991 Regina and Joyce moved to Los Angeles, CA where she put her in performing arts school. Regina attended Bancroft Middle School Of Performing Arts where she studied Jazz, Modern and African dance and was in numerous dance recitals. Then it was off to the world famous Hollywood High School where Regina was able to get full hands on access to theatre and stage. Her sophomore year Regina became a “Shark Dancer” in the play West Side Story, following the same trend as a “Kit Kat” Dancer by the name of “Lulu” in Cabaret. It wasn’t until her senior year where she was able to display her long awaited talent and gift of acting.

In 2000 She landed the lead role in Ntozake Shane’s For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf as “Lady in Blue”. She received a Best Actress PAM award nomination. In 2001 Regina was accepted into The American Musical Dramatic Academy in New York City where she studied theatre and stage combat; during the worlds most tragic and devastating events in American History: 9/11. In 2002 she returned home and entered into a contest entitled Hollywood Enterprise where she won The “Best Spokes Model” Award and also that same year did work on a few TV shows such as American Dreams as a Featured Dancer.2004 Regina was nominated to be a contestant in the Ms. & Miss Black California pageant where she won the Miss Congeniality Award. Within a few more years in 2007 she had a featured role on That’s So Raven as “Latisha”. In 2008 Regina was apart of a theatre monologue show entitled” Sex, Relationships and Sometimes Love by Joelle Arqueros. Regina portrayed “Wonder Women” every Sunday for Six months. Always persistent and driven Regina started producing and shooting her own short film projects; they are known as tributes to black history. As Regina Says: “Black history is not just one day its everyday. With all of the material that my people have left behind I can create my own”. Her own she has indeed and it blossomed in 2009 with Dream Variation by Langston Hughes, How It Feels To Be Colored Me by Zora Neale Hurston and in 2010 Fight The Power: A tribute to Angela Davis.

In 2011 Regina won The Cover girls “Clean for Clean” Contest. Later that year just shy of the ten-year anniversary at AMDA she attended The Academy Of Radio and Television Broadcasting where she graduated with her Television Production diploma in 2012. She was considered one of the schools best students. It was at broadcasting school where Regina found her purpose. Her teacher told her she should do a talk show; since she looked so natural and comfortable talking about different issues and among the guest. Her mother has always believed and encouraged Regina from day one to follow her dreams and never give up! “Regina Knows “ was created and focused on the community, entertainment and everything in between. However, in 2016 Regena found her true calling and a different direction; talking about the Lord and the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Regena would speak on her couch to social media about the good news of Jesus Christ. In 2019 Regena along with her mother host a ministry program called “Pearls In The Morning “ on The Cross TV digital platform. The mother and daughter duo’s purpose for the program is to display the glory of God through their relationship and to encourage, inspire and bring souls to the kingdom of God. In 2020 Regena made her directorial debut on the short film “In My Front Yard”. The film has been selected for the Shorts Showcase Film Festival. The film explores her relationship with the Lord and takes on her spiritual journey. The Lord isn’t done with me yet and the best is next!
