The best things in life are short and sweet! We are on the hunt for Queensland films that can pack a punch and leave a lasting impression. They can be shot in any way, be any genre, made by anyone….they just have to be under 10 minutes! That’s it!
The Short+Sweet Film Festival is finally back in the Sunshine State!
Short+Sweet theatre and cabaret is in its 14th year in Queensland and has presented hundreds of new original works of ten minute plays and cabaret acts. With so many wonderful local stories to tell, it's only natural that we're jumping into the world of film!
By entering your film into the Short+Sweet Film Festival Queensland, you're automatically being considered for judging in all our upcoming Short+Sweet Festivals around the globe for the next 12 months.
Short+Sweet Film Festival Queensland finalists will be screened as part of the Short and Sweet Festival in Brisbane in December, 2022.
Winners of the 'Best Film’ and 'People's Choice' will be screened as part of the International Gala Final at the Egyptian Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard in 2023. Entrance to this red carpet event is by invitation only and will be composed of other winners from Short+Sweet Film Festivals around the world!
