Shockfest is the 5 city, 13 year running Film Festival, specializing in innovative, interactive experiences and cutting edge content of ALL GENRES with a weekly live stream for updates, information, networking and showcasing the work of official submitters even before official selection status is made.

THE SHOCKFEST SMOKEOUT is our first Portal Event of 2021 taking place in Las Vegas, NV on July 15th. We will be gathering to showcase the finalists of our first Cash Prize competition of the year, THE EXPERT FILMMAKER TIP COMPETITION (See Rules & Terms to determine how to apply) and celebrate cinema and smokeouts in the Smoking Recreational Capital of the United States! THE EXPERT FILMMAKER TIP COMPETITION

Submit a 30 - 60 second video sharing a filmmaker tip, win $100!

INSTRUCTIONS TO COMPETE

1) Make your 30 - 60 second video sharing a filmmaker tip, this can be anything from equipment or program recommendations to advise on how to run a crew. The quality of the video does not matter as much as the information provided, this can be done on a camera phone, laptop or professional talking head interview.

2) Submit your project profile to the EXPERT FILMMAKER TIP Category.

3) Await further instructions, which will be emailed to all contenders!

FINALISTS NOTIFICATION DATE
July 15th, 2021 at the Shockfest Smokeout in Las Vegas, NV.

GRAND PRIZE NOTIFICATION DATE
Cash Prize Grand Prize of $100 will be awarded to the official winner at Shockfest Film Festival on December 10th, 2021

    I submitted my "expert filmmaker tips" and was selected. How great is that? To be able to share my own experience and knowledge with other filmmakers who have risen to the top of the field?

    I absolutely loved this competition. Jeffrey really makes this experience fun! I have been in several FF online and here I don't feel intimidated, organisers are so friendly and encouraging and make you feel comfortable. being online is hard but they really go beyond expectations to boost networking and create lasting relationships.
